Yeah I stil don't get why that's never quite caught on. You'd think people would be more likely to write the artist and title than to leave that info out.

And yeah, the new FlyLo is really something. SYRO and You're Dead! Make for a hell of a one-two punch.

It's less of a Wire kind of post punk than a Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds kind of post punk, but I am loving the SHIT out of it.

Along with Purling Hiss's WEIRDON, it's the best guitar-based pop-friendly record I've heard in ages.

I think he's paid Ye a massive compliment. FlyLo has a pretty high opinion of himself, much like Kanye, so I feel fine about it. I've always believed that if Kanye was going to experiment with producers & beat makers other than himself, Flying Lotus is one of the few living souls who would be up to the task.

That said, he's wrong. And even though his version of "New Slaves" is (possibly) as good if not better than the album mix, Yeezus is perfect as it is. If it came out any other way, the chances of it being less than perfect would grow, no matter what was added or taken away.

I do hope they work together in the future, because they could create some extraordinary music together. But I prefer Kanye's own production 9 times out of 10 to anyone else's, especially on his straight up solo records.

Oh yeah I know- I didn't mean to imply that you were wrong. I just finally gave the album a thorough listen and I found myself thinking more of Nick Cave than of Wire (and I'd referenced Wire myself in previous posts, so I was really correcting myself, not you)

Sorry if that all came out wrong. I was just making an observation, about the sound of the album. Sorry bout that.
