In American Divisional rivalries, the games themselves have an inherent meaning to the future of each team. Winning can mean advancing to playoffs, losing can me missing out on the post-season! So if the Bears beat the Packers in both of their divisional games this season there is solid chance the Packers don't make the post-season and vice versa if they beat Bears both games. Same with Ravens and Steelers, or with Eagles and Cowboys (most years not this year) the way the Cardinals were only the 6th team EVER to miss the post season posting a 10-6 win season.. Why? Because their division rival the 49ers had a 12 win season and their other division rival the Seahawks posted a 13 win season!

As a bunch of AFC fans I hope y'all were over celebrating that critical beatdown of the patriots last night! Every single second, every miscue, every bad play, every punt, every turnover, that game was priceless! It was as perfect a game as was the seattle beatdown of broncos in superbowl. Fuck close games, when it comes to brady or manning watching them get blown out is something special to be savored. Most of the NFL games Ive seen at Wembley (on telly, of course) have been duds but this was great (from a neutral's pov). Calvin Johnson not playing was a disappointment but that was more than made up for by what happened in the second half. Great stuff.

Not related, my Instigator Fantasy team lost this week to a 1-6 team because Ben Roethlisberger scored over 50 fantasy points.

A mix of both, but most of the actual game commentary is done by a regular team of UK based American commentators.

It was. But I don't like the idea of a domestic league playing competitive games in foreign countries. They've talked about doing it with the Prem, maybe having the odd game in the US but I think it's an insult to local supporters. The game at Wembley was great for UK fans but represented a massive corporate fuck you to anyone actually from Detroit or Atlanta.

^^^another reason my fantasy team lost, I started Flacco over Drew Breese. Breese cost me dearly over first couple of weeks, so I switched to Flacco and he got my team rolling (with lots of help from, Arian Foster). But Flacco didn't throw for any TD's Sunday and only accumulated two point something fantasy points. Believe I'm switching back to Breese for Thursday at Carolina.

They therefore send everything by boat weeks in advance. strange huh?

Logistics are a motherfucker. Basketball has what, like 12 people ona team plus coahces and staff? baseball has around 30 people and staff? Football teams hae 53 players, coaches, trainers, doctors, etc etc etc. each requires their own nonsense I guess.
