Yes, it's a very nice sounding bootleg made up from 92/3 shows.

Tyler should go back to putting this much effort into lyrics for WOLF. this is miles better than Goblin (which i still like anyway).. easily one of my fav albums in the last few years. Blow is my jam.

speaking of Cage, his 1st album is so special.. one of the bleakest acts i've ever heard in hip-hop. the perfect soundtrack to a totally FUCKED UP, drugged out teenager.

anyway, you guys just brought me back to highschool...
big love for them dark lyrics over smooth sounds. :)

I've urged Eugene to listen to Cage's MOVIES FOR THE BLIND many times before. I don't think he believes me.

You know what? I agree. On Doubelievengod at least, Esham actually does take a backseat to Mastamind (he totally takes the spotlight on Life After Death, however). Mastamind has one of the most unique, and catchy flows to ever hit hip-hop. Without a doubt.

You might wanna check out his Lickkuiddrano EP - he brings the exact same style he used on Doubelievengod.

@Joe -- just check youtube for "Ballad of Worms" or "Escape From Stoney Lodge," you'll like it...

Dr. Eugene Felikson 10.11.2011 03:23 PM

I've had Movies For the Blind on my laptop for a while now, it's alright... just not my thing exactly. I see the appeal though.

I'd rather listen to Em, in all honesty - ha.

noisereductions 10.11.2011 03:26 PM

listen to "Ballad of Worms" anyway. It's not on Movies. But it is probably my favorite Cage track.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 10.11.2011 06:27 PM

NR, I'm not listening to anything until you finally report back on those Natas albums I sent you back in the prehistoric ages.

And Closed Casket.

I like this guy. He reminds me of Slim Shady-era Eminem but black, and wearing Twiztid's contacts. He disses both Lil Wayne, and Tyler the Creator/Goblin.

Modest Mouse's The Lonesome Crowded West
Merzbow's Merzdub

I've heard some of Hopsin but I wasn't terribly intrigued.
I loved Bubble Thug but Dormant Mirrors is my favorite Yo-Yo Dieting release by far. Ungodly beautiful use of samples from T.I., Lil Wayne, and Akon screwed so much they're nearly unrecognizable. Here it is along with the Drum tape.

I'm also not sure if either of you are into Merzbow but I've been digging Merzdub so much. Its the only Merzbow I can listen to more than once in the same week.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 10.11.2011 08:51 PM

I haven't. Is it similar to Merzbeat?

SpaceCadetHayden 10.11.2011 08:52 PM

Somewhat. Its a collab between Merzbow and Jamie Saft. Worth finding.

noisereductions 10.11.2011 08:58 PM

wow didn't even know about thi s Lil B. He spits em out so fast haha.

SpaceCadetHayden 10.11.2011 09:05 PM
