i had no hair. i had white fuzz.

MellySingsDoom 08.17.2008 09:31 AM

White fuzz? Awwww.

The way my hair's going, it'll be back to "silver" in a few years. I'll get a Steve Severin job on my barnet done then.

Cantankerous 08.17.2008 09:37 AM

my grandma was completely gray by the time she was 30. my dad's 40 and he's about 50% gray.

SHIT.

on the plus side it will be really easy to go blonde once i start turning gray.

MellySingsDoom 08.17.2008 09:39 AM

Thanks to my total cunt of a "stepfather", my poor mother's hair went grey very quickly during their atrocious divorce...

Dad Melly's hair has been grey since his early 40's - he used to get it dyed blonde, but he doesn't bother any more. It suits him very much, too.

Cantankerous 08.17.2008 09:43 AM

stress can turn your hair gray. it can also make you age faster in the face too.

MellySingsDoom 08.17.2008 09:44 AM

^^^I know - just look at the pics of me! :p:D;)

Cantankerous 08.17.2008 09:47 AM

no i'm not, i have never been and i'll never will :P i'm not fat in any way, but i don't have any ribs poking out.

too bad my size is really common here, i like second hand shopping but most of the clothes in my size are gone the second they enter the store.

Cantankerous 08.17.2008 10:47 AM

i've gained weight but i still have ribs showing. that's just how i am though. i'm tallish so i can carry weight better than short girls can.

Savage Clone 08.17.2008 01:05 PM

Emmylou Harris looks amazing with the grey.

I have it in the back and a little on the temples now; surprised it's not 100% by this point.

second hands rule. I used to be a heavy shopper in one those in my town back in the days. Then I'd put badges and patches everywhere and feel oh so indie. Fortunately, those days are long gone now.

al shabbray 08.17.2008 01:32 PM

i found my "indie" in clothes in unique hoodies the last days and orderd one for about 140 pounds...oh my god, but I love that thing, even if that means that I will starving the next 2 weeks. fashion over food, hahaha

_slavo_ 08.17.2008 01:38 PM

its made out of suit fabrics. you can choose from whatever you want for the outside, lie the classic pinstripes, tweed, whatever and the inside is a linenfabric, where you can choose from al kind of textures, like dots, flowers, and really far out stuff. then it will made for your measures, and the combination wont be done again. so you got a unique hoodie out of the best english fabrics, made to your sizes...from that point of view 140 pounds inst that much compared to other designer stuff. and I love hoodies
and you can do special things like an extra big hood, or kinda too long sleeves that the sleevething slips in and it kinda looks more suitlike. really nice

EMMAh 08.17.2008 01:50 PM

If you learn to make sweaters yourself you will save a lot of money.

al shabbray 08.17.2008 01:52 PM

but I also got no connection to those fabric guys. I dont think it would be worth learingn it by mself for just one of them. I dont buy them everyday, that is a one-time-buy. I am poor student, with a kick ass sweater, unfortunately not yet

_slavo_ 08.17.2008 01:54 PM

al shabbray, when you start hanging out with P Diddy, let us know.
