Its a pretty dumb scene, is there a scene in the new one where a ghost is pleasuring one of them? I imagine not. lol

I do not remember this at all

Yeah, I remember the scene now. Totally a chick.

I was so confused about Ray getting head from a male ghost. Waat?

Watched Wonder Woman this weekend. Had a blast. Thought it much better than either the latest superman flicks or the batfleck stuff.

I remember that. Some comic book fanboys still won’t accept it. Morons.

I quite liked the movie The End of the Tour. It's a dramatization of a Rolling Stones interview David Foster Wallace did after the publication of Infinite Jest. Really great acting by both leads. I think even if you've never heard of DFW it's still a great film to watch.

Also watched Paris, Texas. I think that movie might be about 30 minutes too long, but I can see why so many people think it's a masterpiece.

This world is full of stupid stupid fucks.

I do not understand why people do not get upset when a human acts as a plant or an alien or a floating mist or a magic horse, but when a human acts as a different type of human? They get so mad! who cares? Actors play whatever part they are assigned. to make only white anglo actors ply white anglo parts and black actors play black parts and hispanic actors play hispanic parts etc. is against the whole spirit of THEATER!

Watched Fences (August Wilson). Difficult to watch Denzell Washinton slowly unraveling, some really good acting including supporting role by Russell Hornsby.

Rob Instigator 12.06.2017 11:02 AM

I have seen three or four August Wilson plays on stage. good stuff.

ilduclo 12.06.2017 11:33 AM

have you seen the biography on American Masters? Very good

Sometime soon, I need to start my annual marathon of a ton of different versions of A Christmas Carol.

evollove 12.07.2017 07:55 AM

Don't forget this conservative comedy. The only funny parts are the unintentionally funny ones, but it's a curious piece of work and might be worth a peek.

Essentially, a Michael Moore type wants to destroy Christmas or something, and Kelsey Grammar as a ghost shows him the errors of his ways.

Brilliant in nearly every way, and yet I had to watch it chunks because I also found it pretty boring.

LifeDistortion 12.07.2017 11:44 AM

Last night I watched a foreign movie on Netflix called Skins, a dark-comedy fantasy about a cast of characters with deformities of the sort that aren't based on any actual ones. For instance one woman has no eyes. Some of the humor can go to some rather gross areas, it almost feels like something John Waters might conceive of, whether you find that to be a good thing or a bad thing I leave to you. I think its worth a watch.
