If you guys are gonna talk about the plot of Game of Thrones, could you black it out or at least post some kind of warning? I've only seen the first 3 episodes On Demand, because I don't feel like scheduling my life around TV broadcasts.
On Demand is wonderful thing. The days of scheduled and broadcasted television are rightly numbered. Now if only HBO would post the first season of True Blood on On Demand, so those of us who are merely curious don't have to shell out for the DVD set... |
At first I was going to say that I made my comments ambiguous enough not to be spoiling for those who haven't seen the episodes yet. And I think I still somewhat am, but looking at it again, I can see how someone wouldn't agree. Sorry about that, I'll do something like that in the future. I hate to be that guy, cause that guy has spoiled me on plenty of tv shows.

I just watched the season finale of Game of Thrones (DVR - I know, ultimate geek), and I want to rant and rave about it, but now I CAN'T, so I will just say, hot naked chicks, dragons, and unbathed scruffy dark-haired bloodmongers RULE. Now hurry the fuck up and watch the show. |

*****WARNING TO GENETIC KISS - DO NOT READ THIS!***** Sean Bean is hot. They should only kill off the uglies. Just sayin'. |

We could talk in there. We really could. And maybe add "AND DON'T WANT THE REST OF THE PLOT SPOILED BY THOSE WHO READ THE BOOKS". Coz that would not be cool in my book. PUN! |

I want to read the books now, but I don't want to spoil the show for myself. OH, THE DILEMMA. |
I expected to hate Matt Smith as the youngest Doctor Who ever, but damnit if he isn't actually good.

i was sick of waiting for this to come out. i've been avoiding watching any of the episodes until today. i am very happy. and new season starting this thursday! |

I don't really watch Doctor Who. But everyone once in a while it happens that I see it on and I watch a few minutes of it. I think he's half alright, quite charismatic, seems to work. |

I have this same dilemma. I really want to read the books, (I read a little preview of it on amazon or some such site, it read pretty well) and probably will, but I'm speculating on how I want to experience the story first, on tv or the books. Obviously fans of the books will say just read the books. And I've heard some comment that the show is still extremely enjoyable with knowledge of the books in hand. Oh well, have a bunch of time till season 2 to decide. I'm gonna start a separate thread, seems to be enough interest in it. |
this show blew my mind. it's produced really well and written so well, it's crazy. it's inspiring to watch shit like this. i think some of you guys might like it |
Personally I love just about all the Showtime shows. Shameless being my favorite. HBO's Game of Thrones was enjoyable. Sorry to see United States of Tara ending. I loved the show.
|
Now that I'm done with my re-visiting of "The X-Files" I'm checking out "Millennium". I'm ashamed to say I never watched this show when it was on, and it was on for three seasons. In fact I never really watched the show, and as a fan of Chris Carter and Lance Henriksen, I should have seen this by now. |
