Don’t check in here very often. Isolating with family, working from home, 5 year old pre-school son with autism in one bedroom apartment, company-wide salary cuts by 20%. You must be so confused in the USA. On one hand, some are warning of the crisis still to come, and the sustained actions that must be taken to flatten the curve. On the other hand, Trump is seen signing papers in crowds huddled together, and is droning on about re-opening the economy really soon. These mixed messages, not to mention the constant lies, will cost lives.

I'm very lucky, living in a sparsely populated area with much greenspace. I get out lots, alone, avoiding people, for walks. I'd go nuts otherwise. I used to be a hardcore runner, but I quit that in Jan 2019 and started hardcore swimming in Feb 2019. But now I can't fucking do that!
Also, I have a job that has not been affected, because I am deemed "essential". (Actually, I am at "work" right now.) :) I think it is very important to continue with music listening, film viewing and book reading during this. My wife decided that we should get divorced as this crisis struck. When it rains, it might as well pour. |
