i'm so glad i had the opportunity to see bardo pond one week before atp, if not, i would have been so gutted to miss them at ATP...

i can't get enough of all those pictures and videos. such great memories. and for the bands i was not able to go see, it actually helps tempering the frustration of missing them.

i tried to talk about this week-end with my parents (and other people who had no idea about the festival or the music played there for the most), but it's difficult to communicate to them my enthusiasm...

i know what you mean man. 'so what sort of stuff is it' is a question i hear a lot and cannot answer.

Same here. Thankfully most people that I've tried to tell about ATP have been so obsessed with the fact that I met people there who I only knew through an internet message board that the conversation rarely gets as far as music.

haha no blood was involved. it was just funny that we had been there for about five minutes and already total dissaster.

i still managed to get two cd's though. mainly due to drunkeness.

note to self: drink more you will get free stuff.

i got complexion by sunburned hand of the man and the new ashtray navigations one. both of them are exellent.

i must admit that the first time i saw blood stereo was much louder than at atp. i was prepared for a total melt down but it was actually quite nice. quite jealous you got them.

Yes, it was fun wading through all that. I was disappointed that I didn't realise that there was a merch table there until Saturday though.

it kept moving around so you had to have special radar to locate it.

Hehe oh that. I trying to have a race with the tide as it was going in. I'd run up as it went back then i'd run back and be smug cos' i'd beat it. After a while I slippe don the rocks then it made me all wet. It ended it in tears as I got a booboo from the stones.

I got into the chalet and ended up taking me pant's of for a few hours then borrowed Rob's (the big ginger machine). Your booze got stolen by Will afterwards, apologies.

i came back w. a stack of CDs. bought three from Prurient for 25 quid. He handed me a flyer and said if I was ever in New York I should go to his store. I got Pleasure Grounds, Black Vase and the Hotoguisu collaboration (which is fugging amazing)
I also got the Monotract CD on Ecstatic Peace, Savage Summer Sun by Double Leopards for the bargain price of a fiver and the Dead C 2CD career retrospective which is also pretty jaw droppingly good.

maybe i should have visited the merch table afterall.
