the gig should be good. i've been rehearsing those tracks for a good two months now, so i think the whole thing flows well and all. I hope people will like it, I'll be the only electronic artist, all the other bands are rather rock / punkish. I only really fear that the USB connexion fails during the gig, which would mean I would have to restart the keyboard, but it only failed two or three times since I've got it, which makes roughly one time a month... so it should go.

As for the girl... I hope it'll go well :D we'll see.

what live equipment will you use? just the keybord and SW synts or something else as well?

a laptop and a midi keyboard plugged to it
i control most of the things with the midi keyboard but still do a few things on the laptop, like changing rhythmic patterns, etc

Today, I went to Hungary to do some shopping (the enormous recession in this neighbor's economy has dumped the retail prices quite reasonably) and I came across a so called "pure malt" whisky called Glen Turner which was being sold for quite a cheap price in a supermarket there. So I bought it, expecting something similar to my obvious Glenfiddichs, Bruichladdichs and Macallans taking up space on my shelf, but it in fact turned out to be a real shitty faux-whisky liquid. Shit, it's even not Scottish.
It's made in France.

The gig was good. I began trembling like mad when I got on the stage, but it ended after a few tracks. I did not make mistakes - only two awkward pattern changes, but that's not too noticeable -, which was good. The sound system was powerful, the men behind the mix table were really great... The basses and kicks were huge

The public seemed to be split in a few categories: some thought it was "excellent", "perfect", "wonderful", "you've got talent guy", etc (some girl said about the concert on her blog that it was "an abyssal sonic universe" and that she was "planing in distortion"), other thought that it was completely "dull", "awful", "this guy's gotta stop music", "it sucks", etc, and other thought it was really good, but I was not at the right place playing in a school festival, amongst rock/punkish bands. But I think overall people rather liked it, I was asked an encore at the end of the show but the time was running out unfortunately.
So I'm rather glad. I'm looking forward to playing more, hopefully...

by the way, nef and al shabbray, I got drunk as well yesterday, but it was this "let's get pissed in the dullest and most un-amusing way as possible" way. out of plain boredom, I just called up my best friend, I went to her place with a 12 pack of beers and we drank and drank and drank.
