fantastic, man. some songs are really introspective while others are just straight fun and even completely ridiculous at times (e.g. Bronsolini's verse on "NaNa".. haha). the production is really impressive, he probably did most of it by himself. the masterful, yet purposefully tacky rapping will probably make everybody start comparing him to Kendrick. and the warm hooks kinda remind me of Frank Ocean. all in all, this is possibly the most memorable project of the year so far. Chance is really talented, i knew that this kid would be something ever since i heard him on a Joey Badass track a few months ago. i'm so happy right now.

been on a metal kick since Jeff died. I remember when I thought Slayer were the most evil band in the world that only church-burning, necrophiliac freakshows listened too. RIP

I generally don't think Hip Hop double albums work (All Eyez on Me, Wu-Tang Forever). There's way too much filler and they're usually way too monotonous.

it could've worked if one CD was all pop tracks and the other was all grimey & raw. i dig the pop tracks, but i agree about the album having too much filler. that Lil Kim track and Playa Hater are just the worst songs ever on a classic album, Mamacita-status.
