One of my worst fears. I have two pretty old machines for today's standards, but as I can't afford new computers I recently had new power sources and ventilators installed. Guy who did the maintenance said the ventilator on one of the PCs was completely dead (no shock, given all the years of overnight torrenting) and that the whole shebang hadn't literally burnt just because of the Holy Spirit or some such shit...
