No it's cool, I do have a teeny teeny bit of scott in my ancestry. Brit and belgium too. But for the most part I'm 50% greek, the other half is a mutt of italian, french canadian and the others I mentioned above.

The first was a 25sec exposure at f45 on my shitty ef 75-300mm.
The second one a was 2sec exposure at f22 on my ef 50mm.

I love photos of London that don't come across as being immediately recognisable. Those photos could be of any number of European city, which for some reason I really like.

Yeah, I try to avoid taking pictures of it from obvious angles as much as I can. Those are all from around St Katharine Docks, which is in a very central part of it (near Aldgate/The City/Tower Bridge), and it's a really beautiful and peaceful place.

I never took this photo, but I love its general sense of 'anywhereness':

Yes. I think people can spend too much time looking for the uniqueness of a place, which generally comes at the expense of representing its actual reality - which is usually a quite generic one. I love the fact that, once you take away the landmarks, London could just as easily be Antwerp.
