I have no idea why I put tesla on ignore but not Bytor.

Anyway.....while I contemplate that, Bytor, are you worried about tomorrow? #5216 sure looks like you are spraying bullets everywhere instead of taking aim at something. I mean.....what the fuck is your point?

Actually, nevermind. (That reminds me - I put Nevermind on ignore. Nevermind makes tesla and Bytor look like Chelsea.)

I must admit that I am also worried. But hopeful. America is not this!! I have faith. This craziness cannot continue, right?

Skuj 11.06.2018 01:00 AM

Trump making his final pitches with Fox News guy and Huckabitch. That says everything!!

Skuj 11.06.2018 01:12 AM

You might ask, why is some guy in Canada so concerned? Well, The Divider In Chief has moved America towards civil war, and that could have monumental consequences for my country.

No other POTUS has ever completely disregarded a large chunk of America in this way. Trump has never even dreamed of speaking to any group other than the teslas and Bytors and Neverminds. One might have hoped that, shortly after the election, where Clinton won 3,000,000 more votes, he would take the high/Presidential road, and do what is good for the country. But, fuck no!! And he will pay a price for this stupidity. But maybe not tomorrow. Tomorrow could be too soon. Perhaps.

Fuck, this whole thing makes me ill. I've never hated anyone as much as I hate Trump. I know that "hate" is a very strong word. But this man is fucking evil. He has caused incalculable damage. Bannon talks about Trump being in our lives 30 years from now. I think he has a point. It may take that long to turn the corner on this damage.

Absolutely nothing to be worried about, nothing to focus on!

I wasn’t taking aim, Rush Limbaugh doesn’t equal bullets.

He was funny and I haven’t seen him mentioned in a long time.

If there is a Blue Wave on Tuesday, you will hear no doom and gloom from me!

The sun will come up Wednesday and life will still be grand!

Sadly, if there is a Blue Wave, many here will think they have “won” yet will eventually realize nothing has changed.

A) Donald Trump will still be President
B) Mueller will stil have nothing
C) many here will still be filled with bitterness

Quote:

A message from Jeff Tweedy

This Election...

"Over the years, I’ve heard a lot of arguments against voting—like, 'it doesn’t matter' or 'both sides are the same'—and I’ve never found any of them to be very persuasive. I’ve always figured that even if they’re right, I’d still rather take some time out of my day and vote than shrug off my duty as a citizen and lose my right to bitch. Right now, however, I feel angry at the selfish and thoughtless nature of those types of excuses. If voting doesn’t matter, then I’d like someone to explain to me why some politicians work so hard to make it so difficult. What are they afraid of? If it doesn’t matter, why would they care? Well, it does matter a lot! What they’re afraid of is how radically our country would change if all the decent and fair-minded citizens who have disenfranchised themselves by convincing themselves it’s pointless to vote stopped giving their rights away willingly. Vote! If you weren’t allowed to, I’m pretty certain you’d want to real bad."

Major setback for Poland's ruling populists in mayoral races

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Poland's populist ruling party suffered a major setback in the country's mayoral races, losing not only in all large cities but also in most mid-size and smaller cities. The results Monday dashed the ruling party's ambitions for greater power nationally and showed the flaws of the party's courtship of the far right.

In other words, despite the horrors we've recently seen in Brazil and elsewhere, Bannon's international "revolution" isn't ironclad, and we may already be witnessing the start of a real voting backlash against this shitshow. From Warsaw to Washington, people!

Guess I should start by saying, All The Luck to you, Robert!

The way it reads to me, your post romanticizes the process of this glorious day. Was there lots of discussions between the passengers on the train, possibly a sense of excitement in the air? Not sure what you mean by -gets too exciting- but having an escape plan is always a good thing.

Here in Texas I’m just waking up from a day of sleep. I’ll be watching the returns from home, flipping between CNN & FOX. I’ll also be dropping in on ABC/CBS for local coverage. However, if you follow informative people, Twitter rules all!

Oh-I’ll also kick it old school tuning in to AM radio......and my wife will make popcorn.

Hope you enjoyed your lunch, Robert......now you e made me hungry so I’m going to make myself a sandwich.

Take care of you and STAY SAFE!!!

You weren't all blue balls from the last cycle? Given how much nut kicking apparently went on? Just checking

Skuj 11.06.2018 05:12 PM

It's a sidenote now, but how fucking dumb is Hannity? First of all, him playing a starring role at the Trump rally shows that Fox isn't even pretending anymore. And secondly, he didn't think that discussing this with his bosses beforehand was important? I'm actually surprised that Fox made a statement about not condoning this.

I hope Michael Cohen's "archives" on his ex-client Hannity see the light of day soon. That motherfucker's gotta have some serious corpses in the closet.

Fox knows who butters their bread - are media pundits not allowed to have any opinions for some reason off their show? You're actually asking why he takes advantage of free speech?

I bet 99% of you who keep asserting a "left" moral superiority on this board have never even read Das Capital. You think the revolution is getting rid of women's restrooms.

The machine fucked up when I scanned my ballot so I don't think my vote counted. Not that it matters in NY - its a big demoRATic machine here.

ha ha ha!

yeah, they are still very popular

anyway, speaking of politics (it’s the thread), the movie industry has been very good to this state, thanks to bill richardson whose administration created the tax incentives and supported the development of infrastructure, education, etc,.

now, richardson was no saint, so he was succeeded by a republican who promised reforms and ended the same as everyone, so after 6 years of susana la tejana martínez i’m ready for another democrat as a governor.

Skuj 11.06.2018 06:19 PM

Not sure what is happening here and in other threads, because I have tesla on ignore, but....is he having a difficult day today? :)

I once muted him on Twitter, but considering that every thing he tweets ends up becoming news (usually people mocking him), it's just something you have to put up with.

Actually, I believe you can block words and phrases on Twitter, but that might not work in reality how I think it works in my mind.

Unrelated......CNN just did a long bit about how unpopular Kavanaugh’s nomination was and how it could be problematic for Republicans tonight.
I highly doubt it, but we will soon see.

If the House stays red I dunno wtf I will do tonight. Get stoned, probably.

A couple of governors races:

— Gillam is winning by 2.5% in Florida

— Abrams is getting destroyed in Georgia :(

Way too soon to call, I know.
