i used to love battersea park as a young kid; the last i saw of the adventure playground, it wasn't quite as epic as i once thought.

i live in ealing, not far from shepherd's bush. it's pretty shitty...

My brother used to live in Brentford - about 15 mins walk from Ealing Broadway. There were a couple of good pubs there, from what I recall....at least you don't live in Croydon - it could be worsr for you!

i know brentford, about 10 or so minutes on the bus. i know of two lovely pubs right by the river.

croydon sounds awful; just that name alone. but hey! peep show was set there, and peep show is made of win.

"Peep Show" is Win Central, but alas, Croydon is Ultimate Fail. It's a place with an unpleasant and often violent atmosphere - it's the one place in London I genuinely feel scared in. Thank God no-one I know of lives there now.

I just e-mailed my friend a song that I found not 5 minutes ago, and he was able to download it, play it through his car speakers, and tell me what he thought about it--all while driving.

earlier while watching 21 i had a cup of peach sorbet that tasted exquisite.

I'm kind of sad though because now I'm out of lemon juice. Will have to pick some up after the dark knight tomorrow.

you drink straight lemon juice? once in a while i like the lime juice that comes in the fruit-shaped bottles.

I've done it as long as I can remember. I want something sour and I drink a few ounces of lemon juice. The kind that comes in the lemon shaped bottles (like the lime ones) is the best, but usually I just have a big bottle of it in the fridge.

all the kiwis in our fridge have gone off... and i never got a chance to say i was sorry

i switched to lime juice when the warhead candies stopped tasting sour at all. fruit juice except for cranberry is always too sweet for me, but the little bottles are the perfect size for me.

I probably should have done the same. I could eat 3 or 4 lemon warheads with a straight face. Now I want some of those.

they're not too sour but i want some sour patch kids. love those things.

Those are pretty good too. basically all I've had to eat today is candy. That's not good.

oh god, i know. i've had chocolate, sorbet, and chicken drenched in honey today. my body feels like a sack of lard.

8-10 Reese's Cups, 1/4 loaf of French bread. that's it.

i have gotten quite adept at making sundaes and banana splits and milkshakes and the like, i but i never have any of it most of the time and when i do it's a super small sampling

did make an electric blue lemonade

1 part vodka
1 part blue curacao
3 parts lemonade
shake with ice

That sounds good, but I'd have to get the smallest thing of it they have. I really don't eat a whole lot of ice cream. I can eat like 3 spoonfuls and then I'm tired of it. I'll have to give it a try, though.

ice cream used to be my downfall, but nowadays i can have a cup and i'm fine for three months. ben and jerry's only comes in pints, the perfect size.

Actually, I've been seeing small cups here for like $1.50. They're less than a half pint I guess. Perfect size for me, anyway. Only thing I've had is Cherry Garcia. I'm just that way with regular ice cream. I could drink milkshakes constantly.

But I thought that kiwis stayed a very long time...???

oh yeah, those things! the grocery store here doesn't have them, and the one in my hometown only has cherry garcia.

this place a few blocks away makes really good thick milkshakes with tons of fruit. one of them is raspberry-blackberry with vanilla ice cream.
