my dad was happy to see me
and that's all what counts, for i want him to be happy because he went through some tough times in last couple of years.
i was with my brother, his wife and three kids and it felt good. we are a small family, yet we stick together a lot.

go on, rant about your dad's uncle.

the way you talk about him, feels also like reading a book.
that's great that with 90 years, he still has so much stamina. not really usual. i wish that these kinds of family gatherings will last you for many more years.
