Heard “Wot” on Legion the other day and it got me in the mood.

Been cranking this on and off for a few days.

I went with Cell-Scape first on the recommendation of another friend, and loved it. Definitely next.

Didn't know much about it beforehand. Total crapshoot, thought I'd give it a shot.

Good. I mean, I've never heard Sakanaction, but for a while there I thought you were rewriting Simon Reynolds' Rip It Up And Start Again. ;)

Well, I love late 70s and early 80s Post-Punk. So it just so happens that I listen to a lot of those artists. I mean, it's the type of stuff I usually deejay, so there's always gonna be phases in which I pipe in a lot of that. But I do like to keep things a bit eclectic.

My impressions of "The Midnight" so far: Surface level 80s 'stalgia Synthwave with pretty awful vocals. Not really enjoying it.

Alright, The Midnight's "Endless Summer" was terrible. Need something good now to cap off the day.

Yeah, this one's damn fine. Popped it in a few months ago to combat the winter downs. Good stuff. Just wanted to listen to something I hadn't heard before and descriptions were somewhat promising. Well, as crapshoots go, sometimes you have a winner, sometimes you just get...well, crap.

Anyway, my CSNY1974 and Rolling Thunder Dylan boxsets arrived. CSNY is delicious as always, however, this tour was much less inspired than their earlier tours. Mostly due to heavy drug use :-p. It's compiled by the band members full authorization, by Graham Nash himself even.



The Dylan box I started listening to it too, but as always I have a hard time to like his voice. Musically it's excellent though.

Fishmans's "Long Season" again. It's such an immersive listen, especially in summer.

Look, anyway, you can get the "virtual" version from Bandcamp and if you don't have it, you should - great rock & roll for an even better cause.
