I mentioned conversation in the thread questioned accuracy of video of tweet being this morning?

I’ve never been to SD and have know clue about their military cargo movements. For those in Cali, I hope that’s all it was!

"Come on" as in: instead of posting "suspect" links waste 2 seconds checking the source before adding nonsense to a thread that could be useful for some people.

And I don't know why you linked the tweet, that's the point.

I live in another continent and still the fact that the US Army has bases in Cali is no secret, googling 2 seconds led to those youtube videos.

I agree about keeping this thread for useful information, the post has been deleted.

Dunno, who's supposed to be koo koo on here? I think I missed a few posts.
I try to post "useful" stuff from time to time (I guess living in Italy gives some sort of almost first-hand experience on the matter), but I definitely can't keep up with everything..

Numbers for today are slightly better than yesterday here (a few less new positive, a few less dead - still A LOT -, a few more recovered ), hopefully these are the first signs of the results of the quarantine (which will get even more strict from tomorrow, btw..).

I'm glad we're on the same page on that.
I've witnessed A LOT of misinformation in my country, and in the US there's arguably even more chance of that for a number of reasons.

yeah, well, some... let's not sweat it and move on

anyway we've missed you around here, and your posts are gold.

glad to see numbers trending down in your parts, if ever so slightly

i expect multiple waves of this thing because first people don't think it's bad and spread the thing.

then they think it's getting better and will look for excuses to gather again.

but we gotta hang tight untill the all-clear.

i just ate some beans, onions, corn tortillas, eggs, and bacon

oh i'm gonna miss bacon when i run out :D

nope, not going to the supermarket unless strictly necessary. i might look into deliveries if it gets to that point, i don't know.

I'm shocked that the message always seems to be "stay home, play with your kids in the house, watch movies" etc etc. Since when is going out for a walk, not in a crowd, staying away from anyone else you may see, a wrong thing?

well depends where you live but in new york where most cases are in the usa going out for a walk gets you in contact with people regardless

also in a building: staircase or elevator or whatever

im not fucking going anywhere unless i have to

check out prison cell workout for more info :p

Skuj 03.22.2020 03:48 PM

Yeah, I suppose I am lucky that way, on the edge of a small town, with greenspaces everywhere. If I cannot get outside and walk I'll go fucking crazy.

Skuj 03.22.2020 03:54 PM

Just a random thought, but who will soon release an album called Coronation? (Brilliant, innit?)

!@#$%! 03.22.2020 03:57 PM

im lucky i have big windows and bright natural light but yeah it can be difficult for some people

!@#$%! 03.22.2020 03:59 PM

aqua buddha just tested positive btw

Skuj 03.22.2020 04:08 PM

Who the fuck is that? :)

Oh....it's related to Rand Paul somehow.

If I was a terrible person I would say something like "Oh please.....oh please...." but I am not that way, so I won't.

!@#$%! 03.22.2020 04:34 PM

aqua buddha is a made-up deity that rank pod made up with his friends in college. i forget what the story was but he’s referred to that way among his critics.

he voted against the coronavirus relief bill

which, truly, is not a perfect bill, but it’s better than nothing

ANYWAY that’s the latest

Skuj 03.22.2020 05:33 PM

He also did a lot of dumb shit while awaiting the result, apparently.

Skuj 03.22.2020 05:52 PM

Is it just me seeing things wrong, or do Pence and Trump stand with groups of people at the podium, huddled close together, setting an example of what NOT to do, for the whole world to see?

yeah, I live in Tiny Town on acreage. Been reading and sleeping out in the lawn chair, earlier in the day I was digging out stumps. I have a nice home gym set up, too, so the health club closure doesn't REALLY bother me.

EVOLghost 03.22.2020 09:31 PM

Even in the city, I'm going out and walking the dog plenty. It's snowing now, but not windy or anything, so tonight's walk was pleasant. Many people are still out walking around and honestly....I'm seeing more people getting out and walking around and getting exercise around the neighborhood.
