The 50D is nice.
Close to full 35 is close enough.

The Canon 5D is pretty awesome. 21 megapixel and it shoots full HD at 30fps/16:9/1080p.
Good sharp footage as long as you don't pan.
The jello is horrible and there's still a lot of noise in the shadows.
It's the mkII, btw. :-)

The new Pana GH1 seems to be the better choice for video work right now.
Not too keen on the AVCHD format though.

Nope, Abercromby Square in Liverpool, it's right by my college so we always have picnics there.

I have a drag queen from NY doing a tribute to Babs Streisand, some comedy thing, a 15 piece band from mexico... and quite a bit more....

On a brighter note, I get to Melbs on the 28th and am staying at the Medina on Fitsroy St. in St. Killy.

Includes a function to enable the manual exposure setting when shooting movies. *For details on how to use this function, please download the PDF files from the bottom of this page.
Disables the function of the depth-of-field preview button when images are played back or when the menu screen is displayed on the LCD panel.
Fixes a phenomenon where the peripheral illumination of images cannot be properly corrected, even if the images were captured with the lens peripheral illumination correction function set to Enable. *Digital Photo Professional software version 3.6.1 or later (for Windows and Macintosh) can be used to automatically correct the peripheral illumination of RAW and JPEG images that were captured in the Peripheral illumination correction setting with cameras that have Firmware Version 1.0.7 or earlier.
Fixes the algorithms of the Auto Lighting Optimizer function when Custom Function C.Fn II-3 Highlight tone priority is enabled.
Fixes incorrect indications on the Arabic, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian menu screens.
Changes the battery information displayed on the camera when using the optional Battery Grip BG-E6.

That firmware sure is an improvement fpr the 5D, nicfit. Much needed from what I've heard.

Tokolosh, the last batch is just unbelievably beautiful, all four of them.

can't wait to go to Venice Biennale, I'll buy the PERMANENT PASS ha ha, tons of pics to be taken (not just of the exhibition, I love the places it's held in), usually I feel pretty inspired in there.
