Read about reading? I'll take this as a nervous-fingered slip-up.

But to answer...

Have you read other Calvino? If so, the lector has been caveated. If not, go for it. It's just a book.

I've finally gotten around to starting this.

I'm rereading The Cities Of The Red Night trilogy by William Burroughs for the first time since the 80's.
Just started The Western Lands... the final installment.

Pure bliss.

Just ordered 'The Moonchild', 'Diary of a Drug Fiend' and 'The Collected Short Stories' by Aleister Crowley. Any other particular books of his I should indulge in?

I've been scanning through a few 'feminist' writers of late. Lispector, Duras, Cixous, Irigaray and my dear Ms Kane. All of whom I'd heartily recommend.

Also, Philip Gross' Changes of Address - especially the Wasting Game - is some of the better new poetry I've read of late. So read that.

My friend gave me Sarah Kanes complete works the other day, ive been sipping through that, plus ive nearly finished American Psycho so i think ill need to start reading this soon just to balance out the psyche.
