Wait.....we are talking about Hillary on this day of all days?

But her emails!! :)

Skuj 12.12.2018 05:22 PM

I mean....fuck me. Trump is POTUS. If Hillary was POTUS and there was a witch-hunt going on that actually turned up a whole lot of witches, then ok, fair game.

But she is not POTUS, and please let me know when she is determined to be guilty of a crime, ok?

Skuj 12.12.2018 05:24 PM

You always know when it is a bad day for Trump: Some people here talk about Hillary. (I admit that I am quite possibly missing the details due to my expanding ignore-list.)

Fuck, Bytor. I tried.

--In 2014 and 2015, Judicial Watch falsely claimed that ISIS had set up camp in Mexico; Judicial Watch's claims were picked up by several right-wing news outlets

--In 2017, Judicial Watch falsely claimed that taxpayer money went into a billboard which depicted President Donald Trump as a Nazi

--In 2013, Judicial Watch claimed that the Department of Justice under the Obama administration organized protests against George Zimmermann after the Trayvon Martin shooting

Etc.

It's a long list of ethically dubious behavior.

A lot of the conspiracy bullshit which circulates around right-wing media (and is eventually thoroughly debunked) starts with Judicial Watch. I'm sure at some point in the recent past they wrote something which made you clench your fists in anger, when in fact the story was simply not true.

They don't care about the truth. They just want you pissed.

Why anyone would go to them as a source is beyond me. There are a handful of respectable conservative outlets, but they are usually thoughtful and not hysterical, so I guess you wouldn't be interested.

The relevance of linking JudicialWatch is they are the ones who filed the lawsuit that led to the judges rulling. Because of JudicalWatch, Hillary will be testifying under oath......simple as that!

The headline reads:

True.

But the same judge threw out about 75% of the rest of their request. And it's two questions. So the headline is, um, misleading. But exciting. I'll give them that.

The vast majority of Judicial Watch requests get tossed btw.

Cohen pleaded guilty to EIGHT counts:

5 counts of tax evasion
1 count for making false statement to a financial institution
***these six counts from his New Yourk tax company, not related to TRUMP or his campaign***

1 count for excessive campaign contribution on October 27th, same date Cohen finalized payment to adult film star Story Daniels due to a non-disclosure agreement she entered into with Donal Trump

1 count making a false statement to congressional campaign

ZERO ANYTHING related to Russia, collusion or fixing a campaign!!!

The Obama campaign had to pay back millions due to breaking campaign finance laws — MILLIONS!!

So again I ask, where-O-where are the charges coming from?

Let us remember those who have been convicted or pleaded guilty since Trump became POTUS:
-- Trump's personal attorney
-- Trump's former campaign chairman
-- Trump's former WH national security adviser
-- Trump's former campaign adviser
-- Trump's former deputy campaign chairman

And after all of this, NOT ONE thing connecting any of them to collusion, hacking or anything else Muller has been fishing for!

I skimmed Will and he made some good points. Not sure what info you want.

He's very pro-worker.

Progressive, but in a practical way. Smart as fuck, but not obnoxious.

He has sloppy hair and a gruff voice, and doesn't come off as an elitist. Just a regular dude.

Women seem to love him.

About 20 years ago, he had an ugly divorce. He may have pushed his ex-wife, who pressed charges, then dropped them. He and the ex are friends now, and she endorses him all the time.

Still, the Trumpian fuck he ran against used that. Didn't get a lot of traction, but someone like Trump might make it a huge deal and his lemmings might buy it.

That's the only hiccup. Otherwise, yeah. He could swing a few red states to blue and take the whole thing. It's quite likely.

Skuj 12.13.2018 04:58 PM

Is it possible that Mueller could reach out to Mrs NRA Russia Spy Chick?

I've said it before, but recent news/sentencings revolve around the silly little matter of paying off women. Mueller has yet to reveal his Russia cards.

I believe this weekend, especially the Sunday morning news shows, we will hear introduced the topic of Middle-Eastern collision.

You will start to hear rumblings about George Nader setting up meetings between the Trump campaign and multimedia companies......that somehow led to voters being influenced by social media and it all being paid for by Middle-Eastern monies.

Oh, who is now legal representation for George Nader, former White House legal counsel to President Obama......Kathryn Ruemmler aka The Fixer

edu scamster DeVos loses

DeVos cancels $150M in student loan debt after losing court battle

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/...-loans-1063442

"Sen. Patty Murray, the top Democrat on the Senate Education Committee, said she was “pleased” the department moved to discharge the loans but called on the Trump administration to go further.

“This is a good first step, but it’s not good enough,” Murray (D-Wash.) said in a statement, adding that DeVos should “abandon her attempts to rewrite the borrower defense rule to let for-profit colleges off the hook and instead fully implement the current rule and provide relief to more than 100,000 borrowers who were cheated out of their education and savings.” "

--Benjamin Franklin

"[W]hy should the Palatine Boors be suffered to swarm into our Settlements, and by herding together establish their Language and Manners to the Exclusion of ours? Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Language or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion.

Which leads me to add one Remark: That the Number of purely white People in the World is proportionably very small. All Africa is black or tawny. Asia chiefly tawny. America (exclusive of the new Comers) wholly so. And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English, make the principal Body of White People on the Face of the Earth. I could wish their Numbers were increased. And while we are, as I may call it, Scouring our Planet, by clearing America of Woods, and so making this Side of our Globe reflect a brighter Light to the Eyes of Inhabitants in Mars or Venus, why should we in the Sight of Superior Beings, darken its People? why increase the Sons of Africa, by Planting them in America, where we have so fair an Opportunity, by excluding all Blacks and Tawneys, of increasing the lovely White and Red? But perhaps I am partial to the Complexion of my Country, for such Kind of Partiality is natural to Mankind."

But anyway, apparently Obamacare is now unconstitutional? Trump is very happy.

So....now what?

Skuj 12.15.2018 01:35 AM

Part of me thinks that this Obamacare judgement, brought on because of the GOP and Trumpy efforts to do everything they can to erase any kind of Obama accomplishments, mostly because he is black, ....wait...oh I'm sorry, wtf was I thinking there? I digress......

Anyway, did a huge gift just land on Dems lap?

Trump thinks he is smart. He is going to tweet his ass off about how wonderful this is. He even tweeted that Chuck and Nancy need to come up with a new plan now.

Over to you, Dems!! This is a golden opportunity. Trump is too stupid to realize the ramifications of this.

Eugene Robinson, WaPo:
"Now the law is beginning to squeeze him from all directions. [...]

The bottom line is that two witnesses, Cohen and AMI, independently now implicate the president of the United States in the commission of two felonies. The campaign finance case is being brought by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York. Back in Washington, meanwhile, special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has been busy, as well. [...]

Trump’s longtime accountant, Allen Weisselberg, has turned state’s evidence. He may be the Virgil who guides federal, state and local prosecutors through a Trumpian inferno of shell companies and opaque transactions. The outlines of Trump’s fate begin to emerge."

I figure it's mostly old people who leave it on literally all day and have nothing better to do with their time. I also figure young persons probably don't contribute much because 1) TV news is old, 2) They're not brainwashed 3) They get what news they do consume through other means like their phone.
