Justin Timberlake may sing white boy soul for endless cracker ass americans, but the dude is very talented. he can sing, and dance, and act, and is very very funny, and seems to have a very good sense of humor about himself. his music is slightly better than the crap P Diddy scra[pes out of his murdering corpo-ass, but that's not saying much.

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 01:49 PM

Too bad he's one ugly motherfucker.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 02:28 PM

I love Target's selection of movies. They actually had Rope on DVD and a few more slightly obscure (meaning not Psycho, The Birds,Rear Window, Vertigo, or North By Northwest) plus a ton of Bogart. Going back for some Bogey and possibly Marnie by Hitch tomorrow.

I need to see it again too. I also have an undying love for the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man... He's my hero.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 02:43 PM

I used to have (probably still around somewhere) a plastic Stay-Puft among my countless number of other Ghostbusters toys, proton pack, trap, arm band, etc. It was my favorite movie as a child and I loved the Real Ghosbusters cartoon, too. I hardly go a day without quoting it.

"We've been going about this all wrong. This Mr. Stay Puft's okay! He's a sailor, he's in New York; we get this guy laid, we won't have any trouble!"

Plastic stay puft?!?!? That is fucking awesome. I vow to someday make a life-size replica of him out of real marshmallows - in spite of how impossible it may turn out to be.
Anytime anyone calls my name I go "there is no Mandy - only Zuul" and no on'e gotten it yet. :(

That might be the saddest thing I've ever heard. One of my favorites is around friends debating or answering questions or something is to say "(Insert name) when someone asks if you're a god, you say 'Yes'!!". But, too, no one gets it.

:( Their lack of Ghostbusters knowledge disturbs me.

And yes I did just throw in a Star Wars quote.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 03:01 PM

I'm much less versed in Star Wars quotes. About the only one I can ramble off is "Try? Do or do not. There is no try." or something like that.

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 03:03 PM

Yeah... seems like Star Wars doesn't have that many memorable quotes. Cept for maybe NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 03:04 PM

George Lucas isn't very quotable. But anything will Bill Murray is nothing but quotes.

Indeed my friend, indeed.

"For relaxing times.... make it Santory time."

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 03:11 PM

You'd probably agree with me and Jade that Bill Murray would make a kickass uncle.

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 03:14 PM

Heck yes! Bill Murray is my hero. ESP. in Lost in Translation.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 03:17 PM

For sure. I often sing like Bill in the karaoke bar.

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 03:21 PM

Me too.
I hope to someday come across an old japanese man/woman not fluent in english and attempt to have a conversation with them in a hospital.
But the odds of that happening aren't too great.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 03:24 PM

Go to Orlando and hang out the in emergency room. It'll happen sooner than your think.

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 03:28 PM

Hahahaha. If the occasion presents itself, I totally will. I'll circle my finger in the air and sing aaaaaaaah-so-aaaaaaaaah.

Sonic Youth 37 07.31.2008 03:36 PM

It's almost a guarantee. Tourists are always getting injured.

pbradley 07.31.2008 09:14 PM

There should be a simple mix drink for Dr. Pepper. Like with rum/jack and coke

terriblecanyons 07.31.2008 11:28 PM

Gah, why am I so hungry?

The fluctuation of leptin and ghrelin hormone levels results in the motivation of an organism to consume food. When an organism eats, adipocytes trigger the release of leptin into the body. Increasing levels of leptin results in a reduction of one's motivation to eat. After hours of non-consumption, leptin levels drop significantly. These low levels of leptin cause the release of secondary hormone, ghrelin, which in turn reinitiates the feeling of hunger.

Indeed.
I used to be addicted back when I was 7... and every time we went to the grocery store they were always out of orange ones.
I bawled.
