And I am not trying to totally shit on it either. It really has been a rollercoaster of "this is cool" to "this is stupid as shit," but I have enjoyed watching through it still for the most part, I will certainly admit. It was just a process of recognizing the shift, accepting it, and rolling with it, taking it for what it became. It's just sad that so many well-written characters had to become such shells of who they started out as. SPOILER: (The way they finalized Littlefinger was probably my biggest frustration. The "true" Littlefinger would not have been outsmarted and outwitted the way he was by any means. In fact, GOT to me was pretty much always a chess game between Varys and Littlefinger.)

I really want to respond and talk to so many of these points, but am afraid it will be another novel. I might jump into more tomorrow and waste some more good work time...

the guy who played Varis spoke in an interview that he was pretty upset that Varys was unused in last 2 seasons. He stated that he had always seen the machinations between Varys and LittleFinger to be central to the story, and the fact they killed off Varys before he had a chance to face off against Littlefinger sucked for him.

I am starting to believe this won't happen, but I have always wanted Arya to have to kill Jon using Needle for some reason to end it all. I always thought that would be a fun bookend for the whole series.

Now, if Jon stays true to the Stark lineage of nobility and true dipshit-ism, I could imagine him staying true to his queen, and Arya having to take him out to get to Dany. Holy crap I would love that. (we've only got 1 episode left for off-the-wall theories, so let me have this!)

I hate Jon. Jon is a dipshit. If he ends up with the throne in the end I will puke.

Actually...I just remembered that there actually is a theory of Tyrion possibly being Targaryan. It was all the rage when peeps were trying to theorize who would ride the third dragon. Thinking on it now, that could be a fun final episode twist.

I have lost all faith in this show really having any more fun/smart twists though...
