As a LOW fan from the beginning, I feel it received too much hype because it was produced by, Steve Albini. However, I feel some overlook it for the same reason. Overhead and Don't Carry It All are two amazing songs that many don't associate with the album due to them being on "etched" record. Personally, I would like to see them do something closer to this than Drums And Guns or C'mon. I also a little biased due to it being the last proper release they did with, tugboat records. |
I find Secret Name, which was also produced by Albini, to be the superior album.

I agree! I've always lumped, When The Curtain Hits The Cast with Things We Lost In The Fire together......same for Secret Name and Trust. Sadly, nothing released since are comparable to these. |

Dude, what's up with the Comic Sans MS. Everybody knows any text in that font can't be taken seriously. Quote:

Rivulets' new album I Remember Everything is on bandcamp for preorder. It's only offered in digital form, and not for streaming yet either. Surely hope it will get a physical release as well, on CD or LP. It has some liner notes by Al, don't think he actually plays on it though (at least it's not mentioned). It's kind of weird to preorder a digital album right? One of the songs was already released as a 7": https://rivulets.bandcamp.com/album/ride-on-molina |

I saw them last night in their zz top gear opening for Slowdive . Best Low set I have seen in a very long time. Made me reconsider my belief that I might be burned out on them.
They avoided much of their MOR material and really delivered a set catering to fans with bigger ears. Excellent. |

Low will be playing in Europe in January. Two known dates:
January 17: Utrecht, Netherlands @ TivoliVredenburg (Hertz) January 18: Antwerpen, Belgium @ Trix I'll probably attend both nights :D |

Low - 2014-11-07 - The Warfield - San Francisco, CA (48/24 Master) |

Shouldn't it be the other way around? Slowdive never seemed that relevant to me, especially considering a certain contemporary band from the same label (no, not motherfucking Oasis), and Low >>>>>>> Slowdive anyway! |
