oh please do. i will wait in anticipation...

i wear a lot of dresses, even more dresses than skirts. just with slippers in the summer and with tights and boots in winter. i get them at second hand stores or handed down from people. every girl should have at least one dress she feels good in and wears often.

Do any of your girls (besides Girlgun) wear skirts/dresses?

all the time

EMMAh 08.28.2008 06:45 PM

I've started wearing more dresses and skirts.

It's not an everyday thing.

davenotdead 08.28.2008 06:48 PM

i agree, not everyday for me either

even though this thread is not about my band, girls girls girls, i will contribute my piece of girly advice.

if you have big calves and have a hard time zipping up boots, stick a shoelace through the hole in the zipper and pull up on the shoelace. you will avoide hurting your finger from pulling hard on the zipper, and you can squeeze your calves into boots you never thought possible.

i only read the beginning of this thread so i don't know what's in the middle.

Cantankerous 09.08.2008 03:38 PM

Fall is time for boots!

cantankerous, i thought i owned many shoes (about 30) but today i read you have over a hundred. that's amazing. where do you stock them all?

Cantankerous 09.08.2008 03:44 PM

In their boxes under the bed and in closets

ploesj 09.08.2008 03:46 PM

oh like that. are you organized enough to put pictures on the boxes so you know what shoes they contain?

I love you

Kegmama 09.08.2008 03:47 PM

Dirty boots! Yes.

And tights!

Cantankerous 09.08.2008 03:47 PM

Ploesj: Noooooo haha. The ones with no boxes, vintage pairs et al go on the closet shelves. I need to get rid of some of them, I should've done so when I moved.

I dunno what it is with short people but we all seem to have huge calves...

Cantankerous 09.08.2008 03:51 PM

I have the shape of legs where I have big calves, but my legs are skinny...but I used to have a hell of a time getting boots on.

ploesj 09.08.2008 03:52 PM

be careful with tights with prints, some tend to make your legs look bigger than they are. white tights or leggings do thet too.

don't EVER wear leggings as pants. they are no pants. they're opaque footless tights. i know you probably don't do this but too many people do... cover your ass.
