I found them surprisingly effective after a bit of practice. I can see how they became such a feared weapon.

Tokolosh 02.20.2007 03:36 PM

They needed stars to keep at a distance from the worlds most perfect weapon, the katana.

Hip Priest 02.20.2007 03:38 PM

That's very true. Injury from a distance.

The katana was a wonderfully crafted thing.

Tokolosh 02.20.2007 03:41 PM

Pretty much like those chairs.
What year are they from? Are they authentic?

Hip Priest 02.20.2007 03:44 PM

Aah yes, the chairs. They are lovely, aren't they? And rather more kind on the posterior then the ones they replace. Most snug.

Tokolosh 02.20.2007 03:48 PM

Let me put it this way, I don't think you'll find them on bargain hunt.

Today I ordered an old book from the local bookshop chap, and I also bought some cider.

MellySingsDoom 05.16.2007 06:11 PM

Beer from a pub in Camden.

Hip Priest 05.16.2007 06:14 PM

For some reason, Mr Doom, I thought you were one of our Australian friends. I wonder why.

MellySingsDoom 05.16.2007 06:17 PM

I'm an honorary Melbournian, but in real life, am a Saaarf Lahndahner.

Hip Priest 05.16.2007 06:21 PM

The London accent has the benefit of being very easy to represent with the written word, doesn't it? Far easier than other dialects, I reckon.

MellySingsDoom 05.16.2007 06:23 PM

Yesindeed!. Innit.

Green_mind 05.16.2007 06:26 PM

it's questions such as these that brings to my attention how shocking my memory is becoming. I think I bought a cup of coffee and a timeout.
