haven't seen this one in years.

this was one of the better movies I have ever seen, it incorporated all the perfect elements of horror/thriller/film noir without being cheesy, and was damned frightening for no real reason at all, after all, there was nothing really be scared of, the mark of a truly good film maker.

The thing that always impresses me with that film is the size of everyone's apartment in it. They're huge.

The first 45 minutes are amazing! The camera zooming in and out as Sam Neil is throwing chairs and shit, hahaha.

But yeah the second half with the oil ooze squid type monster and shit is golden. Amazing film.
