but i know I Am Not a Human Being 2 is coming out in December and the production list seems crazy. http://www.lilwaynehq.com/2012/10/li...eing-ii-album/ Quote:
YES! plus, Wayne says he has recorded like 90 songs with Dr. Dre. http://www.lilwaynehq.com/2012/10/li...-dr-dre-video/ |

btw, you gotta hear his verse on Triple Beam Dreams, easily the verse of the year, and one of his best EVER. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjoW4Nt-9Mk |
yeah the more I think about it, Nas in general, his discography, Ithink I often forget just how solid his whole career is. Life Is Good just got me sucked back in listening to everything again instead of just my smaller handful of go-to records y'know? Kind of realizing that he's actually one of my all time favs without really noticing that before.
I ddin't think I Am Not 2 would really be out this year. That's great news. Especially if it sounds nothing like Dedication 4. Haha. still... who's yr avatar? |
wish i knew, just the first thing i found when i googled "asian goth chick" i think. i change my avatar all the time, it's not always that serious haha.
as you already know Wayne doesn't always take his projects very seriously, but he seems to have taken the time with this one. i'm kinda hyped. just kinda. made me go back and listen to the Carter 3 sessions today. amazing stuff, maybe even better than the final product. |

oh yeah there's tons of stuff on Carter 3 sessions that far surpasses the album. I was always furious that "I Feel Like Dying" was never officially released. Hell, it even got airplay in my area back then. I was sure it would end up on C3. |
although i like WTT and Cruel Summer, i can't say i'm IN LOVE with them like his previous records.

from whatever site i googled it off of.... Music biopics come and go, but this spring minds were blown when the always awesome Michael K. Williams was cast as Ol' Dirty Bastard in the film "Dirty White Boy." Of course, any movie involving ODB has to include the Wu-Tang Clan, and the idea of trying to find actors to fill those roles would be a mind-boggling challenge. But likely, the filmmakers don't have to worry about that. “[We] have no desire to cast any actors as the Wu-Tang,” Williams told the New York Daily News (via Shadow & Act). “We need all hands on deck.” The paper goes on to add that we can "expect to see" RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah in the film along with other members like Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna. So in short, it will be Michael K. Williams as ODB hanging out with actual Wu-Tang Clan, which is basically the most fucking awesome thing ever. Will he rap with them to? We really, really hope so. But man, we feel sorry for whoever is gonna have to coordinate those schedules.... Penned by Brent Hoff, the film will be the directorial debut of Joaquin Baca-Asay, the cinematographer behind James Gray's "Two Lovers," "We Own The Night" and Mike Mills' "Thumbsucker." Described as mix between "Risky Business" and "8 Mile" (hmm...) the film will tell the story of ODB through the eyes of Jarred Weisfeld, a VH1 intern who became the rapper's manager (the writer Hoff befriended them both when he too worked at VH1. No word yet on when this is shooting, but they may have have to pull GZA away from his studies at MIT.... |
