Yeah, Cutting Moments is cool. The dude in it looks just like Steve Albini! Did you watch it as part of American Family Portraits, which as the director's 2 other shorts with it? They're both just as good and genuinely creepy.

I remember it came out in a period when I thought I'd die soon (for a number of reasons), and while watching it in theater with a friend I kept telling to myselF:
"The fuck, please, god, or whoever is in charge up there, don't let this be the last movie I watch in my life, for fuck's sake..."

just "cutting moments" -- and i was really impressed with his ability to convey the tragedy and heartbreak without much action nor dialogue, and in such gruesome terms...

it's really good, one of my favorite horror shorts.

Just OK. Good (sparse) music.

agreed, it's an okay movie, but it seems great because it's so different from all the other shitty movies coming out. It feels like it was made in another reality. The climax was cheesy.

Deschanele really helped, and I guess there were one or two chuckle moments. But otherwise comedy for idiots.

yesterday. I had DVR'd the thing thinking it was the original but it was this one. I wanted to show my g/f the original.
it was cool, more of a police procedural.
but I give it a 7/10. some boring bits, and not enough naked cyborgs.

Role Models : kinda meh on many levels, a couple good scenes
Leon : always great, one of the VERY few movies where the italian dubbing adds to the quality (in some scenes, not the Oldman ones)

Fuck yeah, I remember this original version when it came out. Spooky stuff. Shame the Hollywood remake was so shit, but then again, it's to be expected.

Ok, the actual last movie I watched was a cheesy Chinese movie, Forest of Death.

In the Loop. For the second time in the cinema. It's that fucking good. I will probably go a third time. It's the film of the TV series "The Thick Of It", which I love, and it's even better. Flat out one of the funniest films I have ever seen, and without question the best swearing ever. "There's been a catastrofuck!"

Haven't watched any movies lately.

7/10 Sure it wasn't great but it was more or less what I wanted, and it was fun.

The Wrestler should be here tomorrow through Netflix. Mickey Rourke's face makes me want to puke, but I still want to check the movie out.
