Haha it's my friend's 40 second animated clip, I just posted that as a joke because of all of Diesel's silly posts.

candymoan 04.21.2009 03:44 AM

cutting moments
i've found the short i was looking for..
pretty intense stuff..

http://www.flipsidemovies.com/cuttingmoments.html

atsonicpark 04.21.2009 04:57 AM

Yeah, Cutting Moments is cool. The dude in it looks just like Steve Albini! Did you watch it as part of American Family Portraits, which as the director's 2 other shorts with it? They're both just as good and genuinely creepy.

Ha ha, yes!
I remember it came out in a period when I thought I'd die soon (for a number of reasons), and while watching it in theater with a friend I kept telling to myselF:
"The fuck, please, god, or whoever is in charge up there, don't let this be the last movie I watch in my life, for fuck's sake..."

just "cutting moments" -- and i was really impressed with his ability to convey the tragedy and heartbreak without much action nor dialogue, and in such gruesome terms...

atsonicpark 04.21.2009 08:47 AM

it's really good, one of my favorite horror shorts.

Torn Curtain 04.21.2009 01:34 PM

Gran Torino

Just OK. Good (sparse) music.

atsonicpark 04.21.2009 01:37 PM

agreed, it's an okay movie, but it seems great because it's so different from all the other shitty movies coming out. It feels like it was made in another reality. The climax was cheesy.

viewtiful_alan 04.22.2009 12:20 PM

On sunday with my grandma:

3.5/10
Deschanele really helped, and I guess there were one or two chuckle moments. But otherwise comedy for idiots.

Rob Instigator 04.22.2009 01:14 PM

yesterday. I had DVR'd the thing thinking it was the original but it was this one. I wanted to show my g/f the original.
it was cool, more of a police procedural.
but I give it a 7/10. some boring bits, and not enough naked cyborgs.

viewtiful_alan 04.22.2009 04:47 PM

I've got the original: Classic.
haven't seen the tv series sadly : /

Have you seen 2? And if you have, is it any good?

chairman of the bored 04.22.2009 05:13 PM

atsonicpark 04.22.2009 08:50 PM

Just bought Giuseppe Andrews's Bath Robe Home School Box Set. $49.99. 5 movies! He got the rights back from Troma. I'm so excited.

atsonicpark 04.22.2009 11:48 PM

achilles and the tortoise - 9/10

Schizophrenia 04.23.2009 07:21 AM

Tuesday I watched this

And today i'm going to watch this

atsonicpark 04.24.2009 02:22 PM

In our Garden by Giuseppe Andrews - 10/10

Here's a trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Br3q5E2ELSo

Gayle Wells stars as a 60 year old woman who had her ear bit off by a pony when she was a child, so now she wears a plastic elf ear to cover up the damage. Her lover died of alcohol poisoning on a volleyball court. Now she talks to her plants and tells them to cut down on their drinking. She meets and falls in love with the cop who found her lover rotting by the net, and then with her dead lovers father. Unable to choose between them, she flips a coin...

sonic sphere 04.24.2009 03:37 PM

commando-schwarzaneggar's finest!

nicfit 04.24.2009 03:51 PM

My name is Bruce : quite disappointing
The Mist : not too bad, but I saw the ending coming like 30mins before the end
Role Models : kinda meh on many levels, a couple good scenes
Leon : always great, one of the VERY few movies where the italian dubbing adds to the quality (in some scenes, not the Oldman ones)

Winter Light - - - A+

Blindness - - - 7/10. entertaining, flawed

sonic sphere 04.25.2009 01:52 PM

severence-pretty good i thought

Count Mecha 04.25.2009 02:02 PM

The Brothers McMullen, good stuff.
The Virgin Spring, didn't know Last House on the Left was a ripoff. This one was alot better.

killthecaliforniagirls 04.26.2009 12:28 PM

deconstructing harry. amazing.

breligion 04.26.2009 03:16 PM

I watched and enjoyed Dead Ringers. Crash will be my next Cronenberg flick.

Ok, the actual last movie I watched was a cheesy Chinese movie, Forest of Death.

The Earl Of Slander 04.27.2009 07:56 AM

In the Loop. For the second time in the cinema. It's that fucking good. I will probably go a third time. It's the film of the TV series "The Thick Of It", which I love, and it's even better. Flat out one of the funniest films I have ever seen, and without question the best swearing ever. "There's been a catastrofuck!"

Dr. Eugene Felikson 04.27.2009 08:16 AM

Haven't watched any movies lately.
Just lots and lots of...

Finished seasons 1 & 2. Just started 3 last night.

viewtiful_alan 04.27.2009 04:02 PM

7/10

8/10

9.5/10

7/10 Sure it wasn't great but it was more or less what I wanted, and it was fun.

krastian 04.27.2009 07:30 PM

The Wrestler should be here tomorrow through Netflix. Mickey Rourke's face makes me want to puke, but I still want to check the movie out.

atsonicpark 04.28.2009 12:15 AM

the wrestler's pretty good.

Dad's Chicken: 9/10
Giuseppe Andrew's "Date Movie": 9/10
Monkey: 9/10

atsonicpark 04.28.2009 02:38 AM

Overall, one hell of a double feature,

atsonicpark 04.29.2009 12:17 AM
