I once saw Meatball Machine at the mall, but didn't have the cash to purchase at the time. Went back a week later, it was gone.

I've heard of Machine Girl. Had no idea it was by the same people, I'll check it out as well. Thanks!

Liked it alot, reminded me of Battle Royale for some reason, though the similarities are far and few between.

cradle of fear-a low budget british gore-fest with the lead singer from cradle of filth in it!

Derek 04.30.2009 11:07 AM

Where do I start with Jean-Luc Godard?

Dr. Eugene Felikson 04.30.2009 01:56 PM

Breathless or Band of Outsiders would be good to start out with.
Masculin Feminin and Alphaville are favorites of mine.
I hear lots of talk about Week-End, but I haven't seen it yet.

With Godard I would say "a woman is a woman" or "pierrot le fou" are his most instantly charming. Or start with Breathless and go chronologically till you hit Week-End. Good stuff.

nicfit 04.30.2009 02:44 PM

Franklyn
frankly, shitty movie, except for one thing.

LifeDistortion 04.30.2009 05:06 PM

Near Dark Good movie, could have been better. Loved the shootout scene.

atsonicpark 04.30.2009 05:11 PM

nasty fucking titty eater - 10/10

Look this up on archive.org. Nothing but bizarre visuals and noise music. Just amazing.

Just watched the trailer for this one on YouTube. It looks rad.
I'll definitely be checking it out soon.

atsonicpark 04.30.2009 07:21 PM

yeah near dark's okay. I'm not into vampire movies. I'd give it a 6.

Count Mecha 04.30.2009 07:25 PM

Ever see Vampire's Kiss? That's probably the best vampire movie I've seen.

atsonicpark 04.30.2009 07:27 PM

The Nicolas Cage movie? I love that movie. But of course it's not the typical "vampire movie" I'm referring to.

So many great lines in that one.

THERE YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YouhavetodowhatIsay.....
"SOONER. Sooner."

I'M A VAMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

atsonicpark 04.30.2009 07:28 PM

Also, nice bucky o hare icon.

Count Mecha 04.30.2009 07:29 PM

Yeah, it's not a typical one, but it's better than most of them anyway.

I can prove it! You gotta gun?!

Count Mecha 04.30.2009 07:31 PM

Thanks. I always mean to buy those Echoes of Future Past comics or whatever they're called that he first appeared in, never got around to it though.

Been re-watching the complete 12 oz mouse series. One of my all time favorite shows.

atsonicpark 05.01.2009 03:29 PM

also:

the room - 0/10 for its actual content, this is easily the worst film ever made. But it was entertaining, so probably a 7/10 overall.

nicfit 05.01.2009 03:31 PM

watched "the Chaser" yet, young adam?

I'm assuming you watched them with japanese subtitles.

gmku 05.01.2009 03:35 PM

Requium (2006) with Sandra Huller and Imogen Kogge. A German film. Rather chilling.

atsonicpark 05.01.2009 03:41 PM

No, I never found the chaser. Is there a place online to watch it?

Count Mecha 05.01.2009 03:47 PM

Abrupt ending, but pretty good picture.

dunno, I use just emule (and a supernice forum with verified ed2k links) for stuff not released over here.

davenotdead 05.01.2009 03:59 PM

the Room is awesome.

i love how many times they throw a football

atsonicpark 05.01.2009 04:10 PM

My favorite thing is how all these people kept going in and coming out of the main characters' apartment. If only for a few minutes at a time, usually not even bothering to close the door. Very weird.
