The family and I drove out to Vegas back in April and it was wonderful. Gas prices have fallen a good deal since we made that trip two months ago and they are looking to continue this trend. My advice would be to drive out to Cali now if you can afford it because the next time you have an itch to get out of town, gas prices could be $4 per gallon or more and that short drive to Canada would be such a nice option.

If you do drive out west, make sure to drive the Vegas strip at night. It doesn't cost a thing and you'll never forget it. When in Vegas, you're only 45 minutes away from the Hoover damn (no cost to walk across it and look around) and about two to four hours away from the Grand Canyon. Also, the four corners is in between Chicago and Los Angeles and is another free stop.

I see your Grand Canyon, and raise you one psychedelic mind fuck of a landscape that even Dali's could hardly have imagined..

canada might not be far from chicago border wise, but once you get there you're in the middle of buttfuck nowhere great lakes ontario. the stretch between sault st marie and thunder bay where you'd be is nothing but lakes and trees, and you can drive hundreds of miles where there's no gas stations (keep a jerry can in the trunk, seriously)

straight west to toronto might be aight. but i've never had all that much fun in toronto personally

Hmmmm thanks for the help guys....so far peltor has got me super interested. Those pics are amazing. It sounds like a good idea to drive to Vegas and stay there for just like 2 nights. (anything longer just seems like too much time in Vegas, unless j00s a balla). Maybe tejas is another good idea. Except I feel like that state is just too big....

i'm not clear about the discussion going on but there is 1 thing i can say:

it's summertime. avoid the fucking desert and 150 degree temperatures. go north & thrash.

there was an article about the thoughtways of organised crime
a study in a scientific/psychological magazine some time ago
didn't read it because ....
i understand the bigger picture from movies of organised crime
not saying it is not interesting or that i know everthing about it

gast30 06.09.2012 06:27 PM

that is why i found movies good to air the reality
if people get serious and encounter the big bad world

find that movies have a good use
lot of people can learn from the big picture
ad drama or humor or something else

always be parts that people recognise and understand
that airs
i think

gast30 06.09.2012 06:33 PM

then breath air :p
