![]() Big thanks to whoever posted this one a few pages ago. I absolutely loved it, and wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for this thread. Plus, Jenny Wright (Mae) is a total mega-babe. ![]() |
You're welcome. And yes, she is.
|
Replaced my Freddy got Fingered vhs with a 47 cent dvd (yes, someone sold me the actual dvd for 47 cents.. not a dvd-r!). 11/10, definitely.

Network (Sydney Lumet).
First time I saw it. I was a bit inebriated throughout the whole movie, but it made a big impression on me. A really good one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_qgVn-Op7Q I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!!!! |

He might be a little old and on the Irish side, but I would have liked to seen Neeson as Bond. |

ha ha I loved the scene in the cop car with amy smart and the other whore in the back seats. Among others, obviously. The only charachter I don't like (not even in the first one) is the doctor, don't like that actor. Lots of nice cameos too in this one! |
My favorite scene was the Godzilla-esque fight scene, haha.
|
![]() The Petrified Forest The cover doesn't do justice to how dark some of this was. |
![]() 9/10 DeNiro is so fucking good in this. He's easily my favorite actor |

the texas chainsaw massacre: the beginning. pretty pointless really although i must admit i did enjoy the ending.

yeah this one was sort of good. Better than most of the other sequels/prequels/remakes/whatevers. |
I watched Seven Pounds yesterday. I thought it was really good.
|
Yeah, TCM: Beginning left me feeling pretty 'meh'. A few friends of mine had hyped it up, beyond belief.
|
Never even bothered with it. Michael Bay produced it, right? He's never been involved with anything resembling "half-good". He's cinematic cancer.
My favorite Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie is "The Next Generation". So hilarious. VILMER! Yeah, I love the first one, it's a classic, but I can't watch it all the time like I can Next Generation / |
^Next Gen is so awful. So yeah. It's funny.
TCM is obviously incredible. TCM2 is meh with good gore. TCM3 is ... oh I think I just fell asleep. Next Gen is horrible. Remake is soooooo bad except for that one bullet thru head scene that seemed like a total Argento/Opera homage. The Beginning was okay. |
I was on a spree this weekend:
W The Odd Couple (1967) Zach Galifianakis: Live at the Purple Onion The Spirit X-Men Origins: Wolverine (my wife has a Jackman crush, so we had to) Wilco: Ashes of American Flags Grey Gardens (both the doc and the movie - my mom was up and had never seen them so she wanted to watch them) |
TCM 2 is decent until the last 30 minutes or so, which are such a fucking mess.. jesus. Next Generation and the original are really the only ones I like at all.
|
![]() I <3 mole people. |
^DD is great. As is the music, of course.

|
Finally saw Dark Knight.

BOYCOT. Wow. By the way, Michael Bay produced the F13 2009... which I'm sure you didn't like. But I loved it. |
