exactly those tracks infected me with the BoC virus, after that I totally fall in love with them. and I think they are my second favourite music act ever, after the Youth.

I wouldn't they their my second favourite music act, but they're in my Top 10/5.
I think my top 10 would look something like that

01. Sonic Youth
02. Animal Collective
03. Mogwai
04. Autechre
05. Godspeed You! Black Emperor
06. Boards Of Canada
07. My Bloody Valentine
08. Gang Gang Dance
09. Liars
10. The Fall

I know it might sound dull, but it's like that. Though the order isn't really accurate, I think those are really my 10 favorite bands. But I don't have the ability to do such lists...

and yeah, I do have Animal Collective, Gang Gang Dance and Liars obsessions.

I can say after the years, that SY still remains at the pole position, and I think they will still be there in 30 years.

after that comes BoC which resist to go down a few years, too.

I would say 3-5 are constantly changing, but yes I am obsessed with them too :)

damn I am working on a track where I wanted to put some dictophone paris-metro-trash innit, I wanted you to ask when I finish it what the guy is sayin, but I think I am gonna kik that out of the mix...

3 years ago when I was the last time in paris for 3 weeks, I always got my dictaphone at hand and recording stuff. like ambient noises, people sayin "marlboro marlboro marlboro" at the gare du nord. and some stuff over the speakers in the metro, as far as I can remmeber that recording was at the metro, and I sliced it a lot, but I dont understand a damn french word of it :)
