Based on my experience of Naples, the streets are always full of rubbish. The two times I've been there I couldn't leave again quickly enough.

Although one of the times that I went was to watch AS Napoli play Inter Milan, and that was an incredible experience. I went with a bunch of Ultra, and when Napoli went 1-0 up the entire curva just erupted into a cauldron of madness. When it all calmed down the guy who was sat in front of me was unconscious because a load of people had piled on top of one another and he was on the bottom. I spent the rest of the game praying that Napoli wouldn't score again, but they did, and it was just as bad the second time as it had been the first - they even all piled on top of the same bloke again. I wouldn't have minded his near-death too much, except that these people were the folks that I had travelled to the match with.

Good morning to you and everyone else. They are my next door's neighbours and they are moving out, so they asked me if I'd help them throwing stuff away and sorting out the place before they leave. Went through quite a big pile of shoes, dresses and various junk, last night.

Since both of them are girls, the whole house is filled with cool vintage dresses, hats, coffee table books, jewellery etc. They also gave me a big pile of I-D magazine issues, including the one from 2006 that has the Thurston Moore interview on it. Some bits and bobs of furniture and junk have gone to the bin, including a worn out dummy.

Yes, I intend to take some of the stuff that is being thrown out to a charity shop nearby. Or I'll wear some of the clothes myself. ha.

I'm tired. Tired as hell. Mentally rather than physically, to be exact.
