as for my day you can say it was ok. i go to the libray every day for the ny times coverage of the war. then i read bits of barack obama's second book in russian translation. came home, listened to iggy. mailed a letter to my grnadparents and hit a philosophy seminar on speech acts, silence and pornography. later, my little brother and i had a marathon phone chat about the same. now i am just laying about. it is already thursday. meet me at the corner.

Quehenberger is pretty much the underground legend here in vienna. He does alot of different styles, from straight techno to dark ambient to noise and he also plays with various free jazzers and impro groups (that's the stuff I prefer at the moment).
He's got a new record out on Mego but I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet.

Waffle House, then Sonic, then sitting at said Sonic with our mutual gay friend and listening to bad 90s music (Real McCoy, Sum 41, Blink-182, bad rap). Only sub-par part was when I decided that it would be a good idea to stand atop a snow-slicked fire hydrant...on my way down I completely ganked my right knee and now I have a gnarly ring of bruises around my kneecap.

Made a Cleopatra costume, cooked corned beef hash for dinner, made two loafs of bread, watched Blackbeard's Ghost with my still-a-little-bit-ill boy.

And I found out where the leak under the bath was coming from. Just have to fix it now.

Snow. Wet and cold. Now dry and bored. Not going to Ecstatic Peace poetry reading. Total homebody. Yeah.

it started a couple of hours ago with a tasty breakfast. however, it's already after dark. so i'd conclude it was quite short.

Cox Cable (aptly named) has been screwing me for years over an "extra computer" charge.

today, the Family Enforcer (girlgum) called and yelled at them.

I now have HD cable and a DVR free for the next year.

I'm too nice to get free stuff.

ermmmm kind of painful, but not all bad.

I'd like to amputate a few parts of my body at this point. Not sure how well I'd cope without a middle though.
