This book was so disturbing and yet so good.

Great children's picture book. It explores in a simple and honest way topics such as atoms, evolution, biology, cosmology, etc. I bought three copies for the kids of my friends. very cool.

Pony's monthly book update:

Jonathan Franzen - Freedom
Hilton Als - The Women
Melissa Border - Scarecrone
Lydia Davis - Can't and won't
Emily Gould - And the Heart says Whatever
Richard Yates - Young Hearts Crying
Richard Yates - Eleven Kinds of Loliness
Jean Rhys - Good Morning, Midnight
Jean Rhys - Sleep it Off Lady
Barbara Browning - The Correspondence Artist
Djuna Barnes - Nightwood
Jeff Jackson - Mira Corpora
Tao Lin - Shoplifting from American Apparel

Due to me losing my job, this month's book update will probably only be 2 or 3 books. :(
Maybe I'll find pdfs of good stuff online... that way I could read just as much AND finally use my kindle-- anyone knows a good source?
