Well I would if I could.

My wife received a call at work from the local PD yesterday informing her that her uncle was found dead in his home. He died of natural causes. My wife and I went to the local PD to pick up a few belongings. Once we had the keys to his house, we went to check it out.

It wasn't horrid, but the smell of death was in the air. He was a horder of car parts. Seriously, car parts were in EVERY room. The living room had a full size engine in it.

He was once an 18 Wheeler mechanic, but suffered an injury and has been on disability for over twenty years.

My wife has been pretty upset.

My wife's Uncle Charlie was a bit of a recluse. I doubt anyone reading this would choose to live as he did, but I believe he was happy. Mostly distant from the family, we usually saw him once or twice per year. A real pleasant guy to talk with.

I believe most in the family are feeling as if they should have done more. At the same time, I honestly believe he didn't want more.

He truly enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with engines. He had so many "projects" going on, I believe he reached a point where it overwhelmed him.

John 11:39 - Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

Stinketh isn't a word that's easy to work into everyday conversation.

When I got off work at 7AM this morning, I met my one of my daughters and my wife's uncle at the house where her other uncle died earlier this week. The body has been removed from the house for close to 48 hours now, yet it still stinketh in there.

After an hours worth of work, I'm home, already taken a shower and washed the "stink" away......now I'm off to bed!

My dog was sleeping next to the back of my knees this morning and I farted and she thought it stinketh and so jumped off the bed.

To be technical, I'm talking about decay which doesn't start until death has occurred......you will know when you smell it: Putrid and it automatically activates your gag responses.




On a more pleasant note:

I can get in my car, drive 15 minutes or so and be standing on the edge of this rice field

some new shit must have taken place, i reckon more shitty statements from the nazi party, but i refuse to connect the telly and watch the news.

I'm just back from the dentist......the girl who cleaned my teeth talked fantasy football with me :D

Though a miracle just happened. I fell asleep on my bed and my ashtray fell from it WITHOUT SPILLING ANY ASH! that's fucking amazing.
