A good friend of mine celebrates her birthday tomorrow. After I did my "Miserable Little Pony"-sketch for her last year, I decided that I'd create a follow-up this year. She also really likes Deadpool. Threw in some more random popculture references for good measure. Gotta admit, I listened to Bikini Kill's 'Candy' a lot while drawing this.

The drawing and the overall layout are my creation. The fonts and special characters I've used are the intellectual property of their respective creators. I've played around with a a few free-to use/public domain fonts. Tried to give it a minimalistic post-punky type of look.

Considering the fact that I have no prior experience in designing promotional flyers, I'm quite happy with how they turned out. Could've been better, but hey it's something.

i had decided not to ever bother again with the art uni exams.
unless i decide to work on this, dedicated for a year for this.
thats all it takes, i have concluded.

i have taken them many times, its embarrassing; and i can ignore the embarassment, its not like many people know or that it should matter in the first place.
its just that i always go unprepared and somehow doing there my worst work. and still life, no practice at all, gets to be the worst.

but now..thinking i might do it again. since i still havent started the day job and can go. i just wish i could go totally undercover but there are at least 3 people who will wonder where i am -daily phonecalls.. so i will have to tell them.
