I actually have an answer. At my juncture in my career, I usually reply with something like,

"I would like to grow with the position and contribute to the College as an editor/writer who is respected not only internally but also across campus as the expert who can get the word out about the College's priorities and goals."

Something like that. In other words, I'm not going anywhere, I want to stay here, and get better at what I do.

i just saw that someone donated this massive sci-fi archive to u of iowa, a bunch of old comics and books and etc. it looks pretty awesome.
