I can't remember if it's Shitmat or Scotch Egg (I've seen both on the same bill what seems like a million times) but one of them turned up, plugged in their set, pressed play and proceeded to go entirely mental down the front. Bong Ra appeared on one such bill, and I'd heartily recommend him as well.

I would recommend that everyone, at least once in their lives, go to a Happy Hardcore night/ rave. Unlike most of the Techno-type scenes, there's usually a really silly and fun atmosphere there, if you can bear the music for long enough. For me, I used to only be able to stand small doses, but these days I can stick it on in the background for a long time. The best chore music I can think of.
