If we're not being limited to 'guitar based' indie then I'd recommend the Australian home grown wonderfulness of 'Severed Heads' - City Slab Horror in particular.

Positraction took over my LIFE a few months ago - I love it.

I've only got A Gilded Eternity by Loop though - I... well... it's good stuff, but it's not exactly seminal. Just solid.

Anyone hear of Nick Cave's new band "Grinderman"? I was browsing the new releases on BarnesandNoble.com and stumbled upon it and was skimming over the tracks, it sounds pretty cool. Guess if you're a Cave fan you'd want to check this out.

Alright i'm back now. I bought III, Bakesale, Bubble and Scrape and Westing (By Musket and Sextant). Remember this is Australia so I couldn't find any Jesus Lizard and only 2 Throwing Muses albums. No Polvo either.
