SpankMarvin 05.08.2007 06:40 PM

I'm back too. I seem to have this dreadful habit of leaving for extended periods of time and then returning. I swear it's not for attention.

I hope everyone is well.

Good, thanks! Nice to see you're still here. How's things with you?

Yeah, I've got some major nerding to do. It's not good enough!

oh, i'm flooded with work, fortunately. this place is my "office watercooler" since i work at home... listening to fursaxa at the moment. as you can see ive managed to rack up thousands of posts, which worries me because while i've always been verbose, but this worries me. i suppose the fact that a lot of my posts consist of "ha ha ha" and such other phrases, things tend to bloat. but still...

you done with all your courses?

I'm doing my best at keeping a temperamental booking system working. It's more interesting writing about it than it is doing it, trust me.

temperamental? be sure to kick the computer when it doesn't behave. that'll teach it!

I'm telling you all. People are losing their minds here in America. As in clinically. They are wresting with runaway inflation and soaring gasoline costs, the moral dilemma of the Iraq war, & the agony of over a year more stuck with a President that has been found out. And all this has been heaped onto all their own plentiful troubles.

But, the thing that is now actively causing people to snap, and I mean literally, as in insane in the fucking membrane, is the immeasurable loathing seemingly everyone is acquiring for the pathetic lot of presidential candidates that are up for the job next.

Many years since I was here, on the street
I was passin' my time away
To the left and to the right,
buildings towering to the sky
It's outta sight in the dead of night
Here I am, and in this city,
with a fistful of dollars
And baby, you'd better believe

Chorus:
I'm back, back in the New York Groove
I'm back, back in the New York Groove
I'm back, back in the New York Groove
Back in the New York Groove, in the New York Groove

In the back of my Cadillac
A wicked lady, sittin' by my side, sayin' where are we?
Stop at third and forty-three, exit to the night
It's gonna be ecstacy, this place was meant for me

Feels so good tonight, who cares about tomorrow
So baby, you'd better believe

Chorus

I'm back, back in the New York Groove (repeats out)
