Me too. I would have loved to have seen DKs live, them and the Bad Brains. |
Einsturzende Neubauten played Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle in 1985 at the heighth of the Halber Mensch days, and I was going to school in Bellingham, and failed to find a ride down for the gig. I've "seen" video footage, but that only serves to make more complete my loss.
Two years later, Sonic Youth played the Central Tavern in Seattle on the Sister tour, a week before my 21st birthday. I think that's the only 21+ show they ever played in the NW, and the bouncers at the Central could not possibly be fooled. Man, that bit. |
The concert I enjoyed the most was by a Dutch hardcore band (I can't remember their name).
The gig was at a small youth club in front of an audience of no more than 20 people. After the first song or so I "danced" (pogo, mosh, whatever) for the entire show. I was impressed with their sound which reminded my of Nirvana's Bleach at times. Oh, "never seen" haha. Well I didn't see much of the show because I was so into the music. :p Anyway, it was great. Best concert I've never seen. Hmm. I have no idea. |
