washing machine - that girl's face is kinda cute yeah, but it's her singing style i find most repellent. and style matters-- a lot.

I'd never heard this band before now. I browsed youtube to find the 'unacoustic' version of this, and stumbled upon the official music video. What a load of shit.

I hate videos where it's like, the band are 'rockin out' and there's cheerleaders and popular people standing around giggling and being stereotypical and then BAM the singer is so cool because she's rockin out and she pushes them all to the ground. Ugh. The thing is, it's just power pop.

Okay, I just thought she was cute, had kinda a cute voice and the acoustic version of the song was catchy. Its shameless, cheesy, teeny, its pure pop nonsense and I like it.

There are bands that are great (Like Sonic Youth) and give you a multilayered 'experience' and then there are just bands that write fun, no-brainer singalong Pop music for the kids (Paramore, GreenDay, Blink 182). Its not meant to be particularly groundbreaking or revolutionary its just pure fun. It's like comparing a birthday card to fine art. To take it too seriously or hold it to any standard is to miss the point entirely.

You can be elitist about it but Fall Out Boy, MCR, 'insert band all the cool kids have to hate' occasionaly write a song you can dance and sing to when it comes on the radio. Granted I wouldn't spend my money on buying a Paramore album. Hell, a whole album of that 'shes a bitch and im better for you' shit would drive me up-the-wall too! But whats wrong with a bit of chesse ever-so-often? Miserable killjoys the lot of you...:p

See this is what I dont get. I can understand indifference towards the song, I can undertand a 'its alright...didnt really like blah, blah'. But how 'awful' or comments as extreme as only being able to "stand 11 seconds" can be applied to something that is really quite plain and inoffensive is beyond me. Its like puking up and screaming when you see a white wall.

She was cute until she opened her mouth. Plus her hair is really ugly. Love the red color, but the cut is just no.

Its a little thing on the top of her hair, hardy noticable. And she had quite a strong voice. Really its such an inoffesive, moderately good singer voice....
