Pulp are one of those really weird bands whereby their early work is kinda forgettable and then they suddenly become extraordinary.
Im just glad that i eventually got to have a headoverheelsinlove time with someone when we both listened to Babies.

pulp has been constantly one of my favorite bands from the past 12 years. there's only a handful of bands that i still love since the mid 90's (black flag, radiohead, sonic youth, bad brains and air are the others).

both are amazing. i like different class better, but every song on his n hers is a classic in my book.

They sound like The Cure IMO.

I don't know Pulp well, but I think they're undeservedly bashed just because they were lumped in the Brit-pop wagon (although they were subtler than that).

They certainly sound nothing like any Britpop i've heard.

if jarvis did a show by himself, i would totally go watch him.
