well it looks like it'll rain. this sucks. i hope it doesnt rain that much. do you think it'll make the show less enjoyable?

it wont matter if it rains. might make it more memorable.

If it rains, that will just induce sparks and electricution of the band which they will obviously be unharmed by so it'll be all the better.

Is it a safe area? I have a few hours to kill before the show and was thinking of hitting up some pubs.

yeah, its in the hippest, trendiest neighberhood of brooklyn... hipsters abound, its poised to be taken over by yuppies, with fresh condominiums sprouting up all around the park... there's plenty of good places to drink.

bar matchless, thats prob my favorite bar, and its right there across the street from the park and about 3 minutes from the pool. 2 for 1 happy hour.

Very safe area indeed. And greendog, i'm going to make a guess at saying SY will take the stage between 8 and 8:30 because the show has to be over by 10 for the noise ordinance in the neighborhood.

I do still have one extra ticket. PM me if you're interested. Face value, but you have to come to lower Manhattan to get it.

i am going, and rsvp is nonsense. it looks like if you dont have rsvp confirmation they will make you wait in line at least until 4:30. that sucks.
