It won't change going clockwise.

it doesn't "spin", it's 2-dimensional. the 3d is provided by your brain. |
ok, I get it now, pbradley's post explained it pretty well.
|
i don't even really have to try changing it. whenever i keep looking at it for more than 10-15 seconds then it seems to be changing itself.
|
If you concentrate you can see it flipping back and forth.
|
The first time I looked she was spinning clockwise, then when I looked away and looked back she was going in the opposite direction. I looked away, looked back, and she was going clockwise again.
Typical bloody woman. |
No matter how hard I try I cannot get her to go anti clockwise.
EDIT: Mwahaha I cheated and looked at it upside down. |

that's the case for me Quote:
that depends on where your start. i think in some cases you will change if you "concentrate" and in other cases it will change if you "relax", but the direction of the spin will be the opposite. so if you start "concentrated", concentrating more won't help, it will just give you more of the same. the idea is to switch from one brain hemisphere to the other-- if you overuse one side you'll stay stuck on one side. that's the point of this test. |
now this is confusing, today I see the feet rotate in the opposite direction of the body....
|
any of you guys ever read about tantra yoga and nostril breathing? green mind noticed that and of course there i a relation.
|
can anyone name something more boring than staring at that picture more than once?
seriously, don't you guys have something better to do? |

No, seriously, I'm kinda intrigued by this thing, so when I open this thread to read other people's posts I give it another look. that's all. |
yeah, thanks for reminding me, before you smartasses pick it up:
a) i'm not patrolling this thread to see who is posting or what it's said, i just noticed people who already commented upon this posting repeatedly; i haven't really read the whole thread, although i see a few words like "now it's going to the right" and "now it's going straight to attack me", but what can you say about a dumb picture that twirls? get a damn musicbox! and b) it took me ten seconds to post my previous response, i didn't waste a lot of time on it. |
Uh, I still find this twirling picture quite interesting (because of the perception of it the brain gets). I like this kind of things, like optical illusions and stuff.
|
alright.
anyhoo, let's make it interesting, can anyone see it not moving? |
damnit. was going clockwise, now counter. Cnat get it to go clockwise again.
|
not to take any of the fun out of this, but the right brain-left brain concept is a myth. just sayin'
but the twirly lady is pretty cool. |
She has a very large bust, hasn't she?
|
So isn't god, but it's all fun.
