people lining up and paying $70 dollars to get some athlete's signature is fucking stupid!

I would pay $100 extra if I knew that Kim Gordon had rubbed the reord all over her sonic crotch.

In your opinion, which was all I was saying.

fuck yes, that's my point.

and that thing about kim...hahahaha, i could understand someone paying for that, but that's a...'special' service that would justify the cost.

I think that's probably got more to do with prostitution! I guess you could request that Thurston rubs the vinyl between his cheeks!

sarramkrop 11.08.2007 11:45 AM

I don't see why someone who has 20 bucks spare shouldn't spend it on something like that. I personally couldn't care less about about having someone famous' autograph, but if a person appreciates that kind of thing and doesn't mind paying some extra, why not?

I'd rather not think about it, wrinkly fanny and all.

I do own her old pants you know....

It breaks down like this: $20 for a SIGNATURE or $20 for [tons of cool stuff I don't need to name -- you know what the fuck you can get for $20]. Silly. Also, I tried to make a joke about it earlier, but .. I've seen "In YOUR opinion" on this thread (and board) way too many times, so: If a person makes a statement that is obviously an opinion and if this person does not attribute the stated opinion to a third party, then isn't it clear that it's just the speaker's opinion? Is the phrase "In my opinion" necessary? You don't say things like, "In my opinion, Sonic Youth now has 4 band members." A fact is a fact and an opinion is an opinion. There is no need to qualify ANY of these, unless you're an idiot. So, please, enough of these "THAT'S YOUR OPINION!" No shit it is! Geez.

atsonicpark 11.08.2007 03:12 PM

ps: I'd probably pay $20 for Kim's crusty panies.

My point was that your opinion always seems to be so deeply heartfelt and personal, and I never, ever agree with you. So yeah, you should write "in my opinion" before everything you write! Ha!

atsonicpark 11.09.2007 03:48 PM

You should write "In my idiotic opinion" before everything you write then.
