haha awesome, the £50 restocking fee they wanted is truly insane. I've never been fully pleased with it, doesn't give me any of the desired sounds that I want. I like the cheesy tremolo and sweep echo, haha it's the kind of amp some guitarists would hide behind a marshall stack prop.

I bought this amplifier last week. It's make is Ampton, a finnish manufacturer, of which there's no any information about on the internet. Cheap and probably trash, and the overdrive mode isn't working. Also for a 86W (solid state) amp it seems quite quiet (at least compared to my friends 120W fender solid state), but I haven't had the change to crank it up.

Used to have a Vox AC30 back in the day.

Stupidly traded it for a Peavey Bandit because of the space linitations in our gigmobile.

Then the band split.
I wish I still had my old AC30. It was cool.

I use a Peavey Bandit too - this one but a bit beat up and with some gay total guitar stickers on it. What do you think of it Florya? You can get some pretty decent lead overdrive distortion whatever out of it but it never seems loud enough in larger rooms.

I've played that line 6 one too - thats the one with all the unessisary effects built in to it?

Old & loud.
Black one is a late 60s 50 watt, Purple one is a 1969 200 watt "Major" head.

To be honest, I never really liked the tone of the Bandit. It sounded very 'harsh' to me.

I much preferred the warmer sound of the Vox.

I think I pretty much only use it on the "modern" selection of the lead tone with the bridge pick up on and pre-gain all of the way up.

I've got a silverface Bassman 100 running through a 2x12 Avatar cab with Eminence Tonker speakers. Shit rules. Sounds good and it was cheap as hell. It can handle both my guitar and bass. I've also got an Ampeg 4x10 HLF for when I'm feeling saucy.

Snobby fuck. You just bagged out my Marsha.
