whoa whoa, i think s/t is a good record and all, but i dont think beat happening are anywhere in the same league as the shaggs or johnston or half japanese (might be biased though because half japanese have been in my top 5 for years now)

Let me reiterate again, that they are my favorite band.

I've only got on with You Turn Me On, is it? their last album... I really like that though i havent given the rest a lot of time but it mostly sounded too basic for me to get on with.

was that the one where somebody came to Calvin and asked if he wanted to do an album with some really good musicians playing Beat Happening songs and it's really well done with his voice? or was that released as a Calvin Johnson album...?
