i really only know rasta through the bad brains and the some reggae music i listen to (which is not a lot, but dub reggae is so much better than roots reggae). the bad brains were homophobes though and i believe they got that through rasta teachings, so i don't think i'll give much thought into clicking those links.

how could you know for yourself what Rastafari is about, if you decide not to check out the info for yourself from the source based upon hearsay or misunderstanding? with all things, you should examine for yourself.

Everybody has consuming interests, but not everyone is constantly looking for converts. Interested parties will seek this stuff out of their own accord.
Setting an example is better than being a pusher.

generally speaking, rastafari are not seeking converts, particularly from those organizations whose websites I posted. further, I posted links to the Tewahedo Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which while has a vision to provide the continent of Africa with an indigenous African christianity to replace the foreign European models which are currently practiced by hundreds of millions of black Africans, who for the most part are entirely ignorant of the existence of an African christianity in Ethiopia to begin with, in this regard, is not necessarily evangelical, as it is not seeking to convert non-Chrisians, but rather to attract those who already profess Christianity...
